Libby is a free app where you can enjoy eBooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from your public library. You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card.
Sign Up
- Install the Libby, by OverDrive app
- Follow the prompts to find your library to sign in with your library card.

Borrow
- Your selection will vary based on your library, since each library chooses what titles and formats to offer in Libby.
- Find the item you want and click on it
- Tap "Borrow"
- Select "Borrow"
- You can now access the item from the "Shelf" tab
Keep in Mind
- You can only borrow 10 titles at a time from Lakeland Digital Library
- If a title you want is already checked out, you can place a hold. Holds can be placed on up to 15 items at a time from Lakeland Digital Library

To add your card for a partner library using the app:
- Go to MENU > Add Library
- Search for the partner library and open it.
- Tap Sign In With My Card.
- Under "Partner Libraries," choose Lakeland Library Cooperative from the list and sign in.
